Da WAAGH! at the Maryland Battle Bunker!

Hey guys I haven't posted somethings in a while, but here, this is the a post about my trip down to Maryland! I went and had A GREAT TIME, but the thing is that I didn't bring my Orks but instead my IG and Grey Knights. This monster was at the entrance and sorry for all those Space Marines lovers I kicked him in the go-nads! lol

I played 3 games! The 1st game, I played a 2000point battle against Ultramarines, and I did something stupid, but it was fun. I dropped trooped most of my IG, and lost, but it was still a fun game. Here is one picture of the game!
The 2nd game was also fun. It was a team game and it was me paired up with another IG guy playing against eldar and tau with 4000 points per team. We won! The other team wanted to end the game at turn 4. My teammate wasn't doing that well but I made up for it by doing most of the killing! I used the same list as the one above and the 3rd game also.

Although I don't have pics of the last game it was a draw. I had to go back because of time restraints and couldn't finish it, and my opponent said that either that he could've won, or that mostly I could've won.

Although I play Orks, I have a lot of IG stuff and depending on my mood, I play some IG every now and then.

Battle Report: Splinter Fleet Hades vs. Orks

Tyranids vs. Orks

The bugs were finishing off the last of the Space Marines. Not even the most battle hardened 2nd Company Veterans were able to oppose the brutality of the Tyranid assault. The marine power armor was not resistant enough to withstand the acidic bile of the rippers. The wreaked armor was being transferred to the Tyranid digestion pool and instantaneously liquefied. The Space Marines who survived the assault of Splinter Fleet Hades were being incapacitated by the remaining Tyranid Carnifi and thrown into the digestion pools. The toxic sinkholes were producing rippers by the swarms to devour the remaining corpses. Whilst the Tyranids were making preparations to board their Hades Hiveship and devour their next victims, suddenly, descending from the skies, hundreds of meteors crashed onto the planet.

From amidst the burning wreckage, creatures appeared from the roks. A tide of green enveloped the desolate planet. Eager for a fight, they pounded their weapons on the ground. The Tyranids turned to their new enemy, keen for more biomass to satisfy their devouring hunger. The creatures, the Orks, chanted their war cries, as the largest of the Ork defiantly punched the air with his power klaw, signaling an ultimate “WAAAAGH!!!” In response the Tyranids let loose a thunderous roar. A horrific battle of destruction, despair, and unyielding death, was unfolding.

**Open Transmission from Horatia Command Center**

Hello everyone, I am the High Commander of the Horation 83rd Regiment of the Imperial Guardsmen. I play a sit-and-shoot guardsmen army with a lot of ordnance, a lot of heavy weapons, and a whole ton of infantry. Even though I don't win more than I lose with the guardsmen, I still like playing them in games because I find that I can kind of relate to the little crusaders; in the face of super-human soldiers in impenetrable armor, green hunch-backed monstrosities, and all manner of strange and terrifying creatures, here are my ordinary little humans with their conventional weapons and haphazardly-upgraded early-to-mid twentieth century tanks trying to lose as few comrades as possible.
Recently, I've acquired about 1000-1100pts of Necrons which I have already begun to paint up. I figured I could use a temporary change of pace, having played the IG for about two years now. I've so far played two games with the Necrons, both multiplayer games, and though I lost both of the games, I've yet to lose more than two models in a game. My future posts will most likely deal with my sojourn into Necron-land, as I find that I'll want to explore all of the possibilities that I can with the Necrons before I head back to my guardsmen.

An update on my progress

Hey all,

Just wanted to give ya'll a quick update on my current project (the "First Company Command" of the Imperial Fists). I am about 90% done with the first termi. All that I have to do is paint the shoulder pads and base him. Overall, I think that this is possibly the best paint job that I have given a mini to this day... shame that I don't have a camera that works to take a picture of it with to show you guys.

As of 9:16 ( US mountain time) I have officially finished (that means based and varnished as well as painted) the first terminator for this project. WOOT!!!

Just Saying Hi and Whatnot...

Sup everyone.

I am, as you can surely guess from my tag, a player of the Inquisition. I am the only person, in my 7 years in this game, that plays a purely witch hunters army (at least up to the 3k points limit, then I started adding some guardsmen... YAY FOR LASCANNONS!!!)

Anyway, I am the only person that will be contributing to this blog from somewhere other than NY. This is because I was, until recently, part of this group, but unfortunately, I had to move elsewhere.

I will say that I am the best painter among this group... this will be apparent once I find the charger for my camera and can post some pictures.

My current projects include...
-The "1st Company Command" of the Imperial Fists (7 assault termies, Lysander, a termi Chaplain, and a termi Librarian)
-Finish painting the 5000 points or so of ][ stuff that I own
-Paint my Hellhammer
-Paint a regiment of 20 of the limited edition great swords from Storm of Chaos (I don't remember what they are called atm, they are the ones with the hammers and the beards)
-Anything else that I can do before I become insane from painting (trying to do an "Ork Goffik Rokkers" band)

The Life of Puddles the 'Fex

What's up guys,

This is Puddles the 'Fex. I know, I know, it's an awesome name, all me Awwwwww Yeah. I have been playing with 'Nads saying "Go 'Nads!!" whenever they killed someone. Just kidding, yeah I know that I kid a lot. I have been playing Tyranids for about a year now. I got into it from one of my close friends you all know as "Rip My Pants (Ripper the Admin)" Kidding, kidding. He'll probably ban me from this now.

My 'Nids or bugs, which people call them, are great, but I get discouraged really easily when I lose so I wanted to start a new army. But I got my faith back after winning a match in the local tournament, which I didn't come last in, yay for me.

I love basketball, football, and cricket. Playing with my cousins, PS3 (Yippee GTA is coming out soon!!) and Wii.

The Life of Ripper

Hello all,

I am Ripper, the Admin of Eternal Blades. I am God. At least here I possess deityhood, which means that anything I say goes. MUAHAHAHA, I'm so egotistical, its cruel. But on a more serious note, I am a student, and I cherish my hobby time, since it is very limited. I enjoy things like video games (XBOX 360), rugby, and traveling. Some of my weirder likes include the smell of stink bombs, broccoli, flossing, and bonsai.

I started playing Warhammer in 6th grade. I then took a 2 year long hiatus, due to unfortunate life events, but have been playing 40k ever since. My first and only army are my Thousand Sons Chaos Space Marines. Yet, seeing the horrible changes they made, known as the 4th ed. CSM codex, I have diverged to a more Undivided list...

The Life of Da WAAGH!

I am the guy around here that plays, you guessed it ORKZ!
I like long walks on the beach, and I am bachelor (hahaha) lets not get into my personal life too fast!

I've played Warhammer 40k for about 6 years and actually played all the races except Dark Eldar (but have always wanted to start them). The Orkz stand out to me because they are so KOOL! They also are powerful and the mobs I can create can have more then 60 sluggas in a 1500 point list in the beginning of my deployment zone.
My favorite unit in the Ork list is (drum rolls ....) LOOTA BOYZ!! Heavy d3 strength 7 ap 4 is AWESOME for me. My Ork army is currently a WIP and I am going to make a stompa. Soon I will post my painted boyz.

It is a combined effort of four dear friends, and the annoying, odd, loner based on Long Island, NY, to bring the public a display of the various facets of our hobby; including but not limited to painting, modeling, conversions, terrain, illustrations, battle reports, trial-rules, and the occasional fluff. Initially we will be covering armies such as the Chaos Space Marines, Tau, Necrons, Tyranids, Orks, and Imperial Guard.
